Visionaries of the Real Estate Business
In May, 1979, a group of enterprising men and women shared their expertise to organize a company which will help realize the dream of every Filipino family to own a real estate property. With a vision to provide reasonable and affordable lots, these founding directors and officers have established CITYLAND.
We started marketing farmlots, residential lots and industrial lots in Cavite and Bulacan registering total sales of 15,343 lots, representing more than 600 hectares of what used to be raw land.
With dedicated and hardworking men and women at the helm, Cityland aspires to achieve for more. |
Groundbreaking Initial Ventures
October, 1980 saw a breakthrough in the development of an office condominium located at Rada St., Legaspi Village, Makati City – the First Cityland Condominium (4-storey). The following years will witness the sprouting of other Cityland condominiums in the prime business district of Makati City, townhouses in Pasig City and a subdivision project in Tagaytay City:

Standing Still through the Test of Time
With the grace of God, Cityland stood strong and grateful to have weathered the trials and hardships encountered by the business community including the real estate industry.
The Ninoy Aquino assassination in 1983, the People Power Revolution in 1986, the attempted coup in 1989 and the Asian crisis in 1997 did not dampen the spirit of the company but rather rekindled the passion to reach and achieve greater heights in providing quality investment to an awakened and revived Filipino. Truly by God's grace we have survived the crisis.
The 1990's saw an era of more subdivision projects in Tagaytay City, townhouses in Sunvalley, Paranaque and mixed use (office, commercial and residential) condominiums developed in strategic locations to provide convenient living and trendy lifestyle to investors. Among the projects developed by Cityland Group were:

Success with Continued Trust in God
What started as a simple dream now becomes a commitment to continually provide affordable shelter. From farmlots to industrial and residential lots in Cavite, Bulacan and Tagaytay then to townhouses in Pasig City and Barangay Sunvalley, Paranaque City and condominiums in Makati City, Ortigas, Manila, Pasig City, and Mandaluyong City.
All through these years, God has been so good. The Cityland Group of Companies return the glory as all our buildings stood tall with the sign 'IN GOD WE TRUST'.
Today, as we continue to strive to mark our place in the real estate industry, we never lose sight of the dream of every Filipino to own a place they can truly call their home. A prime location that will be conveniently situated near their working area, schools, hospitals, churches, banks, restaurants, shopping malls, leisure centers and other places of interests.
